I've been listening to this wonderful song the past few days. One thing I really like about country music is that many of the songs have a really significant meaning and a lot of people can relate to the things they say. Tara Oram sings a song called 538 stars - you should check it out :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muUSdjqKsu0
I can relate to this song so much. Growing up in the country, nothing made me feel the way I did when I looked up into a star filled sky. Nothing makes me feel so small, in full of awe, and close to God as I am in those moments. So many memories spent with friends camping under the stars, around a bonfire with friends and family at night, or dipping our feet in the water sitting on the edge of the dock down by the lake. There's something about those beautiful summer nights that make you reflect on life and have the most wonderful conversations.
Here's some of my favourite lines from the song:
And he smiled like he always does
We stayed out until the sun came up
And we counted our blessings one by one
And the wind and the thunder never did come
We just sat there talking, laughing like fools
Nobody watching but the man in the moon
And the whole world slept that perfect night
I learned a little bout living and a lot about life
Out there in the backyard
Just me and him and 538 stars
Some shimmered and shined like big diamond rings
Some sank into the milky way
He told me about the one who led the three kings
To the stable on Christmas Day
He always made it easy for me to understand
Said we’re all a part of a much bigger plan
And he smiled like he always does
We stayed out until the sun came up

Hope you enjoy the song and significance behind these words, and the next time you're out on a clear night - look up to the sky and take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the stars.
